Quentin Weathers, Piano & Vocals
New York City & Atlanta Georgia.
If you wanted to be exposed to a multi-instrumentalist and composer, you would be pleased to know Quentin. His musical experiance/education formulated as a child. Quentin was always singing and dancing. Encouraged by his family, he participated in all sorts of choral and musical events. At nine years old he was selected as part of a 4 person child ensemble to perform with the late Gwen Verdon at Philharmonic Hall in New York.
Moving to Atlanta years later, "Q" was greatly influenced by his high school teachers. He went on to be an All State Award Winner on an instrument that he was challenged by a teacher to learn to play. That led to earning a music scholorship to attend Morris Brown College in Atlanta as a Music Major. While there he was a member of Atlanta's own Southside Coalition, a very popular local showband that later gained a recording contract.
Wanting to find another career persuit, Quentin enlisted in the Armed Forces to gain education for computers. The music took over once they found out that he could play like he does and suddenly was thrust into performing...winning and then directing the United States Army Soldier Show. He was the first to hold such a position as a soldier. Quentin's appointment allowed for performances throughout the United States, Europe, Asia & Korea.
Relocating to Las Vegas, Quentin wanted to try his hand at the place that is the Entertainment Capitol. He has participated with some of the premier musicians here in Vegas and for a time performed with his own band. Now in collaboration with More 4 U, Quentin is enjoying bringing their level of entertainment to the Vegas stages.
